Well after a long hiatus, I've gotten back into my attempt to learn the Japanese language. I've gotten back into the routine of listening to Japanese training CDs, and have remastered the basic grammatical structure of the language. It's not a terribly hard language to learn... the problem comes in all the vocabulary needed. It's hard to look at an object you've called "apple" all your life and force yourself to think "ringo".
Wait... Ringo was a Beatle. The Beatle's production group was called Apple. hrm... interesting. You think it means that Paul McCartney died in the 60's and was replaced by a look-alike to continue to sell records?
Maybe... just maybe.
Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge Beatles fan. I've heard pretty much every scrap of audio the Beatles have ever croaked out, and more than a dozen cover and tribute bands. While cruising YouTube watch random goofiness, I happened upon a band called Rain, which I have to say is THE BEST Beatles cover band I have ever heard. To call them a Beatles cover band is almost insulting. They are soooo much more. They are so good, in fact, that if you close your eyes you will almost swear that you are listening to the actual Beatles recording of their cover. Don't believe me? Peep this....
